To support the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS^®),¹ we request data each year from provider groups that participate in a Cigna Collaborative Accountable Care (CAC) program (“Groups”). The 2026 medical record collection cycle runs from January through April 30.²

Our goal is to ensure that Groups have the necessary information to securely submit accurate and complete records to Cigna Healthcare^®.

• HEDIS Overview flyer: Provides an overview of the basic HEDIS data types, the HEDIS notification and collection timeline, provider group responsibilities and requirements, and preferred methods for sharing medical records.
• HEDIS and QRS Quick Reference Guide: Outlines up-to-date Current Procedural Terminology Category II codes for HEDIS measures that can help Groups maintain, and even improve, their scores. Additionally, utilizing correct coding may reduce the number of records Cigna Healthcare requests. The guide covers:
