A message to nurses on behalf of The Cigna Group

As the son of a nurse who started her career caring for wounded soldiers during World War II, and the brother of a school nurse who deals with challenged children every day, I want to express my gratitude and admiration for nurses across America. There is no better time than  National Nurses Week to recognize the remarkable dedication and unwavering compassion nurses demonstrate each day.

Empathy and dedication personify the true spirit of nursing. In the face of the challenges and demands of your profession, nurses demonstrate resilience and consistency, and we are privileged to work alongside such extraordinary professionals.
