As I transition into retirement after nearly 25 years with Cigna Healthcare, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for your dedication and commitment to our shared mission: improving the health and vitality of your patients – our customers.

Your commitment to exceptional care has been at the heart of all we’ve achieved. Throughout my tenure – whether navigating clinical challenges, enhancing care quality, or advancing health equity – working alongside providers like you has been a privilege. Together, we’ve focused on achieving better health outcomes for your patients, addressing health disparities, and meeting the diverse needs of our communities. For these things – and everything else in between – I want to say thank you to all providers, their staffs, and those who support them.

As I take this next step, I am pleased to welcome Dr. Amy Flaster as the new Chief Medical Officer of Cigna Healthcare. Dr. Flaster brings extensive clinical experience to the organization, spanning patient care, public health, value-based care, technology, clinical strategy, which will further elevate our work. Most recently, she served as Chief Medical Officer at ConcertoCare, a national, value-driven, home-based care provider, leading their clinical strategy and product development. She earned her M.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University and serves as an Associate Physician in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she provides primary care services.
