On September 12, 2026, enhancements to the Cigna for Health Care Professionals portal (CignaforHCP.com) became effective that make it easier to submit and track the status of supporting documentation for pended claims. You can now upload any number of files – with no page limit – up to a combined total of 500 MB, view the upload status of each file, and resubmit only those that didn’t go through.
These updates can help users avoid unnecessary repeat uploads, simplify follow-up, and provide the information needed to move pended claims toward resolution more efficiently.
More flexibility, fewer upload restrictions
