Providers can choose to receive their claim payments from Cigna Healthcare by enrolling in electronic funds transfer (EFT)* at no charge, eliminating paper check mail delivery and handling. EFT can help your practice streamline financial management and make it easier to do business with Cigna Healthcare by accessing funds on the same day as the deposit and reconciling payments using a single remittance tracking number.

When to expect payment
To see when you can expect reimbursement, Cigna Healthcare maintains the EFT payment schedules below. Depending on the product/plan type, the schedules include dates for claims processed, transmissions and bank notifications, and settlements.

*To enroll in Cigna Healthcare EFT, log into the Cigna for Healthcare Professionals website (CignaforHCP.com) > Working with Cigna > Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and complete the electronic enrollment form.
