Cigna Healthcare has partnered with Zelis to deliver electronic payments for all Medicare Advantage plans

One of Cigna Healthcare’s core goals is to provide you with a digital-first experience when working with us. One way we’re doing this is by partnering with Zelis to deliver electronic payments made via automated clearinghouse (ACH) at no cost to you.

What this means to you

Beginning September 16, claim payments for Medicare Advantage HMO claims that you typically receive from Cigna Healthcare will instead start coming from Zelis. If you are currently enrolled with Zelis for Medicare Advantage PPO claim payments, your existing preferences and arrangements will also apply to your Medicare Advantage HMO claim payments.

If you are not yet enrolled in Zelis, please visit the Cigna Healthcare Medicare Advantage ePayment Center at https://cignama.epayment.center/ to enroll prior to September 16 for electronic funds transfer (EFT) and electronic remittance advice (ERA) services from Cigna Healthcare Medicare Advantage at no cost to you.

If you haven’t already, you can upgrade to ACH+ through the Zelis Payments Network and streamline your payments and remittances from an additional 450+ payers through a single portal. You can customize your payment and data preferences, including clearinghouse delivery. Virtual cards are also available. To enroll, please contact Zelis at 1.855.496.1571.
