Cigna Pathwell Specialty^® is for patients using a specialty medication to treat a complex medical condition. As part of this in-network-only benefit plan option, certain medications must be administered by a Cigna Pathwell Specialty designated provider or ordered from Cigna Pathwell Specialty designated pharmacy to be covered.

Patients with the Cigna Pathwell Specialty option who require a drug on the Cigna Pathwell Specialty list must have the drug administered by a Cigna Pathwell Specialty Network–participating provider. This will help ensure patients receive the maximum benefit coverage. Although there are no out-of-network benefits, there are times when a drug may be covered without moving a patient with Cigna Healthcare coverage to another infusion facility or provider; however, these exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

To find a provider who participates in the Cigna Pathwell Specialty Network, visit Cigna.com and follow these steps to search the provider directory:

1. Select Employer or School.
2. Enter your geographic location.
3. Click Doctor by Type.
4. Type Pathwell Specialty.
5. Click Search.
6. Click Continue as guest.
7. After completing the requested information, providers who participate in the Cigna Pathwell Specialty Network will appear. (Note: Results may appear after clicking Search at step 5.
