Cigna Collaborative Care Hospital program pledge enhancements

April 8, 2024

On April 1, 2024, a more streamlined process became effective for hospitals and health systems that participate in the Cigna Collaborative Care® (CCC) Hospital program to complete and submit Health Equity and Opioid pledges. These pledges document the goals and actions a hospital or health system plans to take to improve health equity, advance diversity with the public, and reduce opioid overdoses.

The new process includes enhancements that:

  • Reduce the administrative burden for hospital and health system partners.
  • Consolidate pledges into one template.
  • Allow for easier completion and submission of pledges through an e-signature platform.
