Earn No-Cost Continuing Education Credit for Culture of Caring Webinars

We offer providers a suite of no-cost webinars that provide cultural awareness training and continuing education credit. The self-guided courses include:

  • Cross-Cultural Care in Mental Health and Depression
  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Disability Awareness for Quality Interactions
  • Ensuring High-Quality Care for Patients with Limited English Proficiency
  • Negotiating a Difficult Diagnosis
  • Working with Specific Populations

How to attend

Credits vary by course. They include continuing medical education credits and continuing education units. You can view the full list of courses and credits offered when you sign in to your Quality Interactions account. Course instructions and help are available online.

  • The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s SHARE Approach, a five-step process for shared decision-making that explores benefits and risks through meaningful dialogue about what matters most to the patient.
  • A Physician’s Practical Guide to Culturally Competent Care from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a free e-learning program accredited for physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. It offers up to nine continuing education credits.
  • The HHS Office of Minority Health’s free continuing education e-learning programs, including culturally and linguistically appropriate services in maternal health care, behavioral health, and oral health.
